Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure HQ
A resin-bound national ground-graphic in UAE flag colours and a red resin driveway at the Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure's headquarters — decorative surfacing at federal-government standard.
At the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure, RBS turned the arrival forecourt into a statement in resin-bound aggregate: a large national ground-graphic — lettering and UAE flag-colour fields inlaid directly into the surface — framed by a red resin-bound driveway loop that carries traffic around the building. Every colour is its own bound pour, meeting the next on a clean line, so the whole composition reads as one seamless, hard-wearing surface rather than paint on paving.
For a ministry whose remit is infrastructure and sustainability, the surface fits the message. It is fully permeable, returning rainfall to the ground rather than the storm drain; it needs no irrigation and no seasonal upkeep to stay sharp; and it holds its colour and its crisp graphic edges under constant traffic and full sun — a durable, accessible finish that presents the building at federal-government standard.
