Resin-Bound
A seamless “stone carpet” — natural aggregate bound in clear resin and hand-trowelled to a smooth, permeable finish. Where RBS began, and still made in-house.
What it is
Resin-bound is a seamless stone carpet. Natural aggregate — fine gravel, quartz, sometimes marble or recycled glass — is fully coated in a clear resin and hand-trowelled onto a prepared base. Every stone is locked in place, yet the tiny voids between them stay open, so water drains straight through and puddles never form. The result is smooth underfoot, quietly beautiful, and completely jointless.
Where it comes from
It grew out of European landscaping, valued for being permeable and kind to tree roots and drainage. RBS was born on this surface — it is where the name began — and we still produce our own resin-bound in-house. That is why we can guide the aggregate, colour and finish so precisely, and stand behind how it will wear in the Gulf sun.
