A floor that behaves like liquid, across the capital

Metallic epoxy is a floor caught mid-flow. Fine metallic pigments are floated across a poured resin and coaxed into motion, so the surface swells with clouds, veins and pools of light. When it sets, that movement is captured for good. The result is seamless, glass-smooth and deep — the shimmer shifts as you cross the room, and no two floors are ever the same.

RBS is based in Dubai, but Abu Dhabi is home ground too: our crews pour floors across Al Reem, Yas and Saadiyat islands, Khalifa City, Al Ain and the wider capital, with the same materials and the same standard of finish we’re known for.

Poured by hand, sampled first

Because the effect is created live and can never be repeated, the pour is everything — and it’s why our own trained crews lay every RBS floor rather than a subcontracted team. You choose your colourway, approve a physical sample of the exact movement and sheen, and we build it: base preparation, the metallic pour, then clear topcoats sealed to a hard, wipe-clean finish. For the honest limits, see how metallic epoxy works.

Why Abu Dhabi chooses RBS for metallic epoxy

A pour is a live performance

Metallic pigments are floated across the resin and coaxed into motion, then set for good. There's no second take — which is why our own trained crews pour every floor, and why they travel across the capital to do it.

One of a kind, sampled first

No two pours are ever alike. You approve a sample board of your exact colourway and movement before we commit a single square metre of the real floor.

Seamless and hard-wearing

A glass-smooth surface with no joints to interrupt the eye, sealed to shrug off daily wear and wipe clean in seconds.

Honest about where it belongs

We'll tell you where metallic epoxy shines and where it doesn't — an interior floor, kept out of full direct sun over the years, is where it stays at its best.

Your questions, answered straight

Do you actually cover Abu Dhabi?

Yes — properly. RBS pours floors right across the capital: Al Reem, Yas and Saadiyat islands, Khalifa City, Al Ain and beyond, with the same trained crews and materials we use everywhere else. Distance changes nothing about how the floor is built.

Does it scratch or wear out?

It's a hard, sealed resin floor built for daily life, and it wipes clean easily. Like any glossy surface it shows dust and footprints between cleans, and years later the clear topcoat can be refreshed to restore the shine — without touching the metallic layer beneath.

Will it yellow in the sun?

Epoxy prefers interiors and can amber under years of strong direct sunlight, so for sun-drenched rooms we'll specify a UV-stable topcoat or advise a better-suited surface. We'd rather set the right expectation than sell the wrong floor.

Is every floor really unique?

Yes. The metallic movement is created live during the pour and can never be repeated exactly, so your floor is genuinely one of a kind. We sample your palette first so you know the character you're getting.

Where we pour it

Metallic epoxy belongs where a floor is meant to be looked at — a seamless, reflective statement underfoot. Across the capital that means:

  • Living rooms & entrance halls
  • Showrooms & retail
  • Hotels & lobbies
  • Offices & studios
  • Home cinemas
  • Feature & reception floors

Frequently asked

How much does metallic epoxy flooring cost in Abu Dhabi?

Metallic epoxy flooring in Abu Dhabi starts from AED 160/m², supply and install. Multi-layer designer pours start from around AED 200/m², and flake or solid-colour epoxy from AED 160/m². These are the same rates RBS runs across the UAE; larger areas price lower per square metre.

Do you cover the whole of Abu Dhabi?

Yes — the capital and beyond: Al Reem, Yas and Saadiyat islands, Khalifa City, Al Ain and the wider emirate, with the same crews and materials we use everywhere.

Can metallic epoxy go over an existing floor?

In most cases yes — it's poured over a sound, properly prepared substrate such as existing screed or tiles. The preparation is what makes it last, so the base is assessed on a site visit before any pour is quoted.

How long does a metallic epoxy floor take to install?

Typically several days: base preparation, the metallic pour, then clear topcoats — each with its own cure time. The floor should stay out of use until the final coat has fully cured.

Is metallic epoxy suitable for direct sun or outdoors?

It's an interior floor. Epoxy can amber under years of strong direct sunlight, so for sun-drenched or outdoor areas we'll recommend a UV-stable topcoat or a more suitable surface, and give you the honest answer for your space.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes — a one-year workmanship warranty on top of manufacturer material guarantees.
