Metallic epoxy is a floor caught mid-flow. Fine metallic pigments are floated across a poured resin and coaxed into motion, so the surface swells with clouds, veins and pools of light. When it sets, that movement is captured for good — a still photograph of something that was, for a few hours, alive. The result is seamless, glass-smooth, and deep: the shimmer shifts as you cross the room, and no two floors are ever the same. Effects you can sample
Every metallic floor starts as a sample board in your own colourway, so you see the look before a single square metre is poured. The effects people ask for most are looks, not separate products — the same poured system, guided differently by hand:
- Cloud — soft, drifting movement with no hard lines; the calmest metallic floor.
- Marble — swirls and drifts that read like polished stone, without the joints of a stone floor.
- Veined — sharper lines running through the colour, for a more dramatic, directional floor.
- Pearl — a fine pearlescent shimmer that changes with the light more than with the pattern.
Because each pour is made live, the real floor will follow the sample’s character, never copy it line for line — that is what makes it yours.
How the floor is poured, in five steps
- Slab check. We look at the substrate on the site visit — soundness, cracks, moisture and level — because a metallic floor shows everything underneath it.
- Grind and prime. The surface is mechanically prepared and primed so the resin bonds to it.
- Base coat. A solid base coat in the ground colour of your sample.
- Metallic pour. The metallic layer is poured and worked by hand into the movement you approved.
- Clear topcoats. Clear protective topcoats seal the effect — UV-stable where sun reaches the floor through glass or an open door.
Each layer cures before the next, which is why the floor stays out of use until the final coat has fully cured.

Does it scratch or wear out?
It's a hard, sealed resin floor built for daily life, and it wipes clean easily. Like any glossy surface it shows dust and footprints between cleans, and years down the line the clear topcoat can be refreshed to bring the shine back — without touching the metallic layer beneath.
Is every floor really unique?
Yes. The metallic movement is created live during the pour and can never be repeated exactly, so your floor is genuinely one of a kind. We sample your palette first so you know the character you're getting before we start.
Will it yellow in the sun?
Epoxy prefers interiors and can amber under years of strong direct sunlight, so for sun-drenched rooms we'll advise honestly and specify a UV-stable topcoat — or point you to a surface better suited. We'd rather set the right expectation than sell the wrong floor.
Is it slippery?
The standard finish is smooth and glossy. Where grip matters — a step, a wet threshold — we can add a fine anti-slip additive to the topcoat without losing the depth of the metallic look.

Supply and install as one job means one company is responsible for the whole floor.
Do you sell a metallic epoxy floor kit for DIY?
No, and we would gently talk you out of one. A kit gives you the pigments; it cannot give you the ground and primed slab, the pot-life discipline or the practised hand that turns a flat, muddy blend into real depth. Most DIY metallic floors we are shown end up being ground off and redone, which costs more than pouring it properly once.
