Resin bound (stone carpet) starts from AED 170/m², plus a one-off AED 3,500 mobilization fee per project, charged once whatever the size of the job. The calculator multiplies your area by the rate and adds the fee. That is also why a small job costs more per square metre than a large one: on a 20 m² path the fee is a big share of the total, on a 120 m² driveway it is a small one.
Microcement starts from AED 220/m² on walls and feature surfaces, AED 250/m² on floors and stairs, and AED 350/m² in wet areas — bathrooms, showers and pools, where the waterproofing and sealing take more work. There is no mobilization fee on microcement. Enter each zone separately; a bathroom is usually floor plus wet walls, a living room floor alone.

Why your quote can be higher than the calculator
The calculator gives the starting price for a straightforward job. The quote after the site visit can be higher, and we would rather say so now than surprise you later. For resin bound, the aggregate you choose, the base underneath (a sound concrete slab, or a new base to build first) and access for the crew move the figure. For microcement, the condition of the existing floor or wall matters more than the colour: levelling, cracks and loose tiles all have to be dealt with before the first coat. Special colours and textures are priced on consultation.
What does not change is how we work: our own crews, trained in-house and never subcontracted, and substrate repairs priced after the site visit so there is no surprise on the invoice.
What about lime plaster, rubber and other surfaces?
We do not publish a rate for anything else, so they are not in the calculator. Lime finishes — Venetian plaster, marmorino and tadelakt — and poured rubber are priced per project after a site visit, because the wall or the fall-height specification decides the figure more than the area does. Send us a photo and the measurements and we will price them properly.
