No. Epoxy floor paint is a thin single roller coat sold in a tin — adequate for a car-park bay, and the reason some Dubai quotes come in at a fraction of ours. Epoxy flooring as we lay it is a system: diamond-grinding, primer, a poured or flake body coat and a clear topcoat, several millimetres in total. Paint wears through and lifts under hot tyres; a system does not. We quote for the system.

In most cases yes — it's poured over a sound, properly prepared substrate such as screed or existing tiles, and the preparation is what makes it last, so the base is checked on a site visit before quoting. Installation typically takes several days: the base is prepared, the epoxy is poured, and clear topcoats are applied, each with its own cure time. Installers who supply their own material — supply and install as one job. We bring the full system, and one company is responsible for both the material and the workmanship. We do not sell epoxy resin, pigments or flakes for DIY or to other contractors, because the finish depends entirely on the preparation and the pour. No. We are not 3D epoxy flooring contractors — the printed-image floors sold under that name are a different product from the poured decorative floors we lay. If you want a floor with depth, our metallic epoxy pours create it in the resin itself rather than with a print, and they can be refreshed and repaired in a way a printed floor cannot. If you specifically want a printed picture floor, we would rather say so than sell you the wrong floor.

There is no fixed price list — the finish, the slab's condition and the area decide it, and we quote after a site visit rather than a number over the phone. What we can say plainly: a poured epoxy system costs more than a tin of epoxy floor paint, and for good reason — the system's grinding, primer, body coat and topcoat are why it survives hot tyres and years of traffic where paint peels within one summer. A high-gloss finish scratches under grit and shows every mark, which matters in a country where sand travels indoors on every sole. It needs a sound, properly prepared substrate — poured over a weak or damp slab, it can blister or delaminate. And a full re-pour, not a patch, is usually the honest fix once a large area fails, which is why the preparation matters more than the topcoat colour. None of these rule epoxy out; they are why we grind and prime properly and why we say plainly when a different surface, such as resin-bound for an exterior, is the better answer.
