Repton School
Resin-bound surfacing across a Repton School campus — pool decks, walkways and play areas in a slip-resistant, seamless, cool-toned finish built for barefoot use.
Across the Repton School campus, RBS surfaced the spaces children actually move through — pool surrounds, walkways and play areas — in resin-bound natural aggregate. The finish is seamless and gap-free, with no raised edges or trip lines, and a naturally textured surface that keeps its grip wet or dry: the qualities a school needs where feet are often bare and running is a given.
Around water it does the quiet work well. The bound aggregate drains straight through, so pool decks clear quickly instead of holding standing water, and the light, natural tones stay cooler underfoot than dark paving in the sun. It is hard-wearing under constant daily traffic, easy to keep clean, and holds its colour through years of term-time use.
