Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Decorative aggregate surfacing at the approaches of the UAE's most revered landmark — flowing two-tone stonework laid against the white marble of the Grand Mosque.
At the approaches of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, RBS laid flowing fields of decorative stone aggregate — a two-tone composition that sweeps across the landscape like calligraphy, set against the mosque’s white marble domes and minarets.
A site of this significance leaves no room for error: the work had to meet the standard of the country’s most visited landmark, and hold its colour and form in full Abu Dhabi sun.
