What it is

Poured epoxy is a liquid floor that finds its own level. Worked warm and fluid, it flows across the ground and settles into a single, unbroken sheet — no seams, no joins, nothing to interrupt the eye. As it comes to rest it sets to a deep, glassy gloss that catches the light and carries it clean across the room.

The feeling is quiet and confident. A poured floor reads as one calm expanse, effortlessly smooth underfoot and cool to the touch. Where it comes from

Epoxy earned its reputation on factory floors and in the hangars where nothing was allowed to fail — a hard-wearing finish that could take a beating and keep its shine. Designers noticed. What served the workshop so faithfully turned out to be beautiful in its own right, and the seamless poured floor made its way from the practical world into gallery spaces, ateliers and finally the home, where its clean, unbroken sweep now feels like a considered luxury rather than a working necessity.

Poured epoxy flooring: the short answers

What is poured epoxy flooring? A seamless, self-levelling epoxy resin floor, poured liquid and left to find its own level, then set to a glossy finish. It is an interior floor: epoxy ambers under direct sun, so outdoors belongs to other surfaces.
